Michelle Wall, Community Employment Facilitator & Team Lead
Since Michelle was a young girl, she dreamed of helping people achieve the change they want in their lives. Her career as a Community Employment Facilitator (CEF) has given her the opportunity to make her dream a reality. Michelle started her journey as a Career Practitioner over ten years ago. She has been with Community Centre Alliance since 2006. Through her roles as Community Employment Facilitator, Project Manager, Executive Assistant and Homework Haven Coordinator with CCA, she has gained many skills, certifications and experiences. Michelle uses her wide range skills and experiences to effectively support her clients – from individual employment counselling, to group sessions and specialized workshops.
As a Community Employment Facilitator, working out of Buckmaster’s Circle Community
Centre, she has gained wide-ranging knowledge of the career development and employment
programs/services available to Community Centre Alliance. Another significant part of
Michelle’s CEF role has involved data entry and case management using Accountability
Resource Management System (ARMS) and the Performance Recording Instrument for
Monitoring Evaluation (PRIME) assessment tool. Michelle has been a member of the ARMS Mentorship Team, is a self-proclaimed “ARMS guru” and has taken on the role of ARMS coordinator for CCA. This provides Michelle the opportunity to liaise with her team members to gather, manage and maintain statistics and information for the purposes of daily interactions, documentation, and individual case management.
Michelle has been enjoying her career whole heartedly and looks forward to her own
professional/personal development and supporting individuals to meet their career goals. At home, she enjoys learning new “off-grid” ideas, reading and spending time with her daughter, family, and friends.

Chantal Barron, Community Employment Facilitator
I began working with MacMorran Community Centre in 2014 which sparked my passion for community development and advocacy work. In 2020, I began working with the CCA with a focus on food security and outreach initiatives. I received my BSW at MUN in 2022 and entered the role of Community Employment Facilitator. I am grateful to be able to support and cheer on my clients as they reach their employment, education, and personal goals.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and outside either kayaking, camping, and or hiking around our beautiful province!

Janice Henstridge, Community Employment Facilitator & Team Lead
I’ve been employed with Community Centre Alliance for the past 15 years as a Community Employment Facilitator at Virginia Park Community Centre. One of my most significant accomplishments was being certified as a “Career Development Practitioner” by New Brunswick Career Development Association in 2021.
I’ve recently taken on a new role as “Team Lead” for Community Centre Alliance, along with my long-time Co-Worker, Michelle Wall. You know the saying, “Two heads are better than one”.
Within my daily role, I’m involved with Virginia Park Community Centre and am an active volunteer. My passion is to help whenever needed, assist other staff with Community Events and engage with community residents. My job isn’t a job, it’s who I am.
I have over 25 years of skills and knowledge in areas related to employment/career counselling and extensive experience working in the post-secondary industry. My dedication is to provide career and employment support to unemployed individuals from diverse backgrounds, including youth, adults, and at-risk individuals.
